Responsible patient registration in the computer, invoicing and collection of counter cash payments..  Accommodates and answers all patient queries in a professional manner.  Controls and accounts for cash receipts in the Reception and before ending shift, remits it to Finance Department with complete documentation following standard practice of Accounting system. Checking of daily invoices as per policy of insurance companies or company contract and prepare monthly invoices for billing. Preauthorization application for insurance patients and proper follow up.

Daily contacts with doctors and nurses in clinical areas to give information or specific endorsement regarding patients.  In contact with co-staff within the department for work collaboration.

  • Greets patients and guests in the Reception counter and assists them according to the needs i.e. refer to service area as requested.
  • Accountable for Doctors, Allied Health & Admin Rota completion
  • Ensure staffs are engaged and business runs efficient, organize, delegate and monitor excellent workload.
  • Support training and development.
  • Dealing complaints (Staff and customers) and to communicate with Patient Relation
  • Register in the computer and open files for new patients on the basis of information provided in the Patient Information form.
  • Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve customer service operation provide efficient service to both internal and external customers.
  • Provides receipt and collects payment and refer patient to the next area of service.
  • Provides information to customers as to prices, facilities, doctors and visiting professors program..
  • Distributes patients to clinic doctors ensuring there is no overloading and taking into consideration patient’s request for a specific doctor.


  1. A– Paramedical Qualification or BA Graduate.
  2. B– Experience: Thee (3) years minimum as Receptionist or Front Desk clerk in a reputable healthcare facility or hotel.
  3. C- Knowledge/Skills: With broad knowledge clerical and Accounting practices in a healthcare or chain of hotels.  Expertise in good dealing with patients and colleagues.
