Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2021: Indian Army has published a notification for recruitment for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC). Eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of SSC can apply for Indian Army Recruitment 2021 from 25 May to 23 June 2021 on joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Indian Army SSC Course will commence in October 2021 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A total of 189 vacancies will be recruited through this recruitment process of which 175 are for SSC (Tech)-57 Men and 14 for SSCW (Tech)-28 .

Indian Army has invited applications for 57th & 28th Short Service Commission for Men and Women respectively on its official website @joinindianarmy.nic.in. The eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army have been invited to fill up 191 vacancies for SSC Technical posts. The online application process will be active till 23rd June 2021. In order to avoid the last hour rush and ensure you apply timely for the examination.
Indian Army SSC Technical Recruitment 2021 Process:
- The course will commence in Oct 2021 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit. Duration of Training is 49 weeks. Training at OTA is at Govt expense. All candidates who successfully complete Pre Commission training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai will be awarded ‘Post 9 Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies’ by University of Madras. The final allocation of Arms/Services will be made prior to passing out of Lady/Gentleman cadets from OTA, Chennai and will be at the sole discretion of Integrated HQ.

- Selection of the candidates, will starts with Short listing of Applications. After short listing of applications, the centre allotment will be intimated to the candidate via their email. Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage-1 will go to Stage-2. Those who fail in Stage-1 will be returned on the same day. Duration of SSB interviews is five days. SSB Interview does not confirm final selection.
